Ideas become real when they meet practice. Here you find the first tools we are shaping and testing
The Uncivilize tools are designed to be your ally in:
Seeing possibility
How to divest time and energy from the global economy, revitalise our imagination, and play around with new ways of seeing and doing?
Longing for change
How to connect with our deep human needs, and change from a place of longing: to connect, play, learn, grow, contribute, create, commune, care and nurture?
Inspiring action
How to create a space between hopeless paralysis and the idea of a heroic change maker, saving the world all by themselves, to explore change together?
Whether you're rethinking your lifestyle or prototyping a new kind of organization. As you let go of excess and dependence on fragile global systems, you open the door to choices that genuinely improve well-being. Where might you begin to divest from systems that no longer serve life? What would you like to invite more of? What could your next small step look like?

We collaborate using the Uncivilize method to look at your project, initiative or organisation with fresh eyes. What could be unexpected ways in which you can create value and strengthen ecological and social ecosystems, local economies and households? How can you build positive relationships within the broader ecosystem?
We start with exploratory workshops to map where your project sits across the four modes and uncover hidden opportunities. From there, we move into embedded collaboration: understanding what stakeholders want, reframing the opportunity and providing hands-on design support. Together, we experiment and build solutions outside the industrial toolkit — using appropriate-tech, natural, and regenerative approaches.
The purpose is to build a dynamic system that is resilient and fit for your project, team, business or organization.
Speaking and teaching: provocation and inspiration

We bring the Uncivilize framework into learning spaces and gatherings, opening eyes to alternative modes of living and working. Through talks, presentations, and participatory sessions, we inspire people to question assumptions, explore new possibilities, and imagine how a broader mindset can reshape projects, organizations, and daily life.
Each session is designed to provoke curiosity, spark dialogue, and plant seeds for lasting change.
(in progress) Personal workbook: reflection and experimentation

We are creating a workbook to help you uncover where you long for change, imagine alternatives, and turn them into daily practice. It can be so easy to see all that is wrong in the world today, and become stuck, numb, anxious, depressed, or all of the above.
By applying the Uncivilize method to your own (and/or your family or communal) life you create a space and oxygen to reflect, both on what you would like to leave behind or have less of, in your life, as well as what you long for, and would like to invite more of. Not in a grant, distant-future-scenario type of way, but right here, right now, in this moment, today.
The first edition will be free to pioneers who would like to collaborate and share their experiences to inform future versions.
